Hi, I’m Janet—the owner and creative director behind Bombas Events.

I’m the person who notices when a napkin is slightly out of place, remembers the sentimental detail you mentioned weeks ago and quietly handles the unexpected so you never have to know it happened.

To me, events aren’t simply about making a space look beautiful. They’re about creating an atmosphere where people feel welcomed, celebrated and completely present for the moments that matter.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

My love for celebrations started long before Bombas Events. Growing up, I was always rearranging spaces, dreaming up party ideas and finding reasons to bring people together.

After working within the wedding and event industry since 2017, I began creating balloon garlands as a creative outlet. That small beginning grew into something much bigger, and in 2023, Bombas Events officially became a full-service planning and design company.

Today, I bring together logistics, creativity and an unapologetic obsession with details to produce weddings and celebrations throughout South Florida.

THE MEANING BEHIND BOMBAS

The name Bombas is deeply connected to my Puerto Rican heritage.

Bomba represents music, rhythm, storytelling, movement and celebration. I wanted my company to carry that same welcoming, soulful energy—a brand filled with culture, creativity and heart.

That spirit is woven into every event I create. Your celebration should never feel copied, packaged or designed for someone else. It should feel unmistakably like you.

WHAT WORKING WITH ME FEELS LIKE

I’ll listen closely, tell you the truth and care about the details as much as you do—sometimes even more.

I’ll help you make confident decisions, communicate with your vendors and keep all the moving pieces organized. When event day arrives, I’ll be behind the scenes making sure everything looks beautiful, runs smoothly and feels effortless to you and your guests.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

When I’m not planning an event or perfecting a tablescape, I’m spending time with my husband and our two children—often cheering from the soccer sidelines or finding another reason for our family to celebrate.

I’m proudly Puerto Rican, family-centered and completely convinced that the smallest details can make the biggest difference.
